  1. Dear Julie,
I am a victim of TaleDly scam. My daughter sent me a link to an adorable foldable chair that looks like a dog bed for humans that she saw on Pinterest. I thought the item was extremely cheap which was a red flag but I went for it anyway because it was such a cute item. After a month and about 2 weeks I hadn’t received it so I looked the company up on line and sent them an email. By then I also noticed that I never got an email with a tracking number or shipping updates.
I placed the order on 6/23/23 and they claimed it was delivered on 7/21/23. I pulled camera footage from our front door cam which shows the mailman putting letters in the mailbox but not delivering a big box on 7/21/23. On top of that I was home that day because a friend visited me an hour later, which I know because our camera starts recording when you come on our porch.
I sent an email to TaleDly in late July and they said the sofa was on its way, then that email mysteriously disappeared from my inbox. I have been going back and forth with them since last week. They sent me a phony tracking number, so I sent them the camera footage from the day and time they said it was delivered. They replied that I had to take it up with the post office and they could only give me $11.99 because it wasn’t their fault it didn’t get delivered. I paid $39.99, so the scam is to get $20 from as many people as possible, but I am going to get my money back.

The most disappointing thing is that their products are on a reputable site like Pinterest. I tried to report them to Pinterest but I got frustrated trying to find the right portal to report them through. I will contact my credit card company and challenge the charge.

Thank you for covering the topic of on-line scammers. Unscrupulous people have gotten out of control since COVID. The other suspicious thing is the email address the person is using to respond to me is written in Chinese (深圳力霖网络).

  2. I ordered the foldable chairs/beds from the Pinterest link too. I was fortunate, because as soon as I finished the order, I had a bad feeling. I did a quick search for Taledly and everything said SCAM. I immediately called my credit card company and flagged it. I tried to cancel with the company through the only available email. (Also thier website claims you can cancel anytime before shipping). First they acted like I made no order, and then they gave me the run around and said I must wait several days. Yeah, they want you to wait so the charge will post. I contested the charge and got my credit. Now I’m paranoid and checking my statements just in case they try anything. Scumbags
I did receive a cheap pair of tacky sunglasses. Apparrently it varies on what people receive. If you ordered furniture, you get cheap sunglass. Clothing, you get a cheap pen, etc. Quite the racket they’ve got going. Pinterest makes it impossible to complain. So I make a point to comment on every post of theirs I come across.

I truly hope you get your money back and have no other problems.
