What is Newegg.com website?

Newegg located at Newegg.com is an online store selling various types of computer parts, Pc components, laptops, gaming systems, etc.

Acccording to Gamer’s Nexus, and allegedly multiple comments by viewers of the GN YouTube channel, Newegg has been running what Steve (from Gamer’s Nexus) calls a “scam.” The “scam” involves consumers being denied refunds by Newegg after returning what are supposedly return-eligible products, specifically motherboards. Newegg has apparently been consistently citing “customer-caused damage to CPU pins” (from the video at the 4:10 mark) as the reason for witholding the funds from would-be RMA-ers.

However in as mush as newegg is a legit website, they have series of negative reviews online about their extremely poor customer service, and selling bad computers to people .

All these are Huge red flags and reasons not to shop from Getsecretlane.com, But if you still want to shop from this store, continue reading!

More Reasons why you should not shop from newegg.com

Terrible Customer Service

Customers have complained of the terrible customer service of Newegg. Reviews online have shown customers lament bitterly about this and there are tons of negative reviews online about newegg.com

Slow delivery

Customers have also complained about slow deliveries and the inability to call or call contact the store.

The item that was supposed to be available and “shipped by Newegg” takes already 2weeks to even leave US. There is nowhere to call and the automatic chat assistant is as pathetic as it can be – waste of time. Looks like it’s time to connect back with local suppliers and sellers.

Customer Complaints

Customers who shopped from this store have left reviews online stating that they received an entirely different item from what they ordered. And all efforts to contact the store for a refund proved abortive.

Purchased a computer desk that was dropped off damaged. They sent a return label which, after dragging the darn thing into ups we found out was not prepaid. They gave us two days to respond with photographs of the damage, then they take weeks and still can’t process a proper return.
Filed a complaint with my bank and will seek full reimbursement. By and through this review and my phone call as of today, they now have two days to send someone to pick it up or it’s getting dropped off at a donation place.
They waste your time, your money and send labels that look prepaid and aren’t.
I will never purchase from this site again and will advise friends and family to consider the same.
It is noteworthy that the delivery service indicated the damages to the product when they dumped it off here so this is absolutely not our doing.
Now they want to send a real label.
We get two days to respond or they close out the complaint but they take weeks and can’t even send a prepaid label over.

Is newegg.com Scam Or Legit?

From these critical points noted above, newegg.com has a lot of red flags.

Just like various scam online stores, it uses cheap discount prices to lure customers. However when they place order they receive an entirely different item or a low grade of what was ordered while some unfortunate customers get nothing at all. This is a classic example of a bait and switch scam.

Conclusion

From every indications, it is clear that newegg.com is not a genuine online store. It has a poor trust score and as such is not recommended by us.

Just like viviizstores ,dicoola, alien-tees, galacmart, southood, crocodiletime and other suspicious websites, customers did not receive the items they ordered but a cheap item or nothing at all.
