Monzo Debit Scam Text Exposed
Quite recently people have been receiving text messages and emails which reads thus:
We have sent your DEBIT card replacement. If you did NOT request a new card, follow the steps via: https://monzo-cancel-order.com
This text message and mail is a HUGE SCAM and the handiwork of fraudsters with the intent of stealing your personal details and money. Once you click the link, they request for your Monzo account details, if you supply it – the scammers would get access to your Monzo account and wipe it off. This is not originating from the real Monzo. The website domain was bought on the 11th of January according to whois lookup 
Please don’t fall victim by exposing your personal details or paying any money to these fraudsters.
How to prevent being Scammed?
When you get such calls or email. Ensure it is coming from a company mail and not @gmail, @yahoo, @aol and the likes.
