The Iowa Board of Regents lawsuit alleged UIHC has a policy and practice of neglecting to pay its health care provider employees’ overtime wages within 12 days of the pay period in which they are earned, and of failing to pay employees all of their earned wages in a timely manner after they were terminated, in violation of the Iowa Wage Payment and Collection Law and Fair Labor Standards Act.
