How To Use The Gourmia Espresso Machine

Before First Use

• Remove and discard all packaging material and stickers that are not permanent.
• Remove the water reservoir, milk reservoir, portafilter, filters, measuring
  scoop, removable drip tray, and removable coaster. Wash them with nonabrasive soap. Thoroughly dry and reinsert the parts. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth

Using Your Espresso Maker

• Turn the appliance on by flicking the power switch on the right side of the appliance.
• The appliance will beep three times and begin preheating. The icons will pulse steadily until finished preheating. After preheating the appliance will enter standby mode. All available features on the display will light up.
• Fill the removable water reservoir with water between the “Min” and “Max” mark. Note: You can either use a pitcher to fill the reservoir or you can remove the reservoir and fill it up at the sink. Be sure to reattach the reservoir and place the water reservoir cover back on after filling up at the sink. Never use warm or hot water to fill the water reservoir.
• Fill the milk reservoir with water— not milk—below the “Max” mark.
• . Insert and secure the milk reservoir into the appliance.
• Set the froth strength control to the maximum strength
• Place a heat-proof cup or mug over the drip tray.
