Ecochip Fuel Saver Reviews 2022: Scam Or Genuine? Find Out!

Have you come across an ad online for the Ecochip fuel saver? Do you want to buy the Ecochip fuel saver? Is Ecochip fuel saver a Scam? Is it Reliable? You may be asking, Does Ecochip really work? The answer is NO. Read this review to find out why the Ecochip fuel saver does not work.

What is Ecochip fuel saver ?

Ecochip fuel saver is a device with claims to save fuel. The fuel saver device is designed to work with the OBD2 Connector of your vehicle, and it remaps the engine according to driving style and reduces the overall fuel consumption of your car.  It claims that the functionality of the chip is based on OBD2 protocols and aids in reprogramming the computer’s CPU in the vehicle.

When you connect the chip into it’s OBD2 connection, it will begin receiving data through the Computer CPU. When the chip has received information, it alters the Boost Pressure and the fuel quality, the timing and the timing of injection. It is just a piece of junk that has been recycled countless times. As of 2017 this same product entered the market. It was ‘Ecofuel’, and similar to Ecochip it did not work.

Inasmuch as the Ecochip fuel saver looks legit, the main concern of this review is to ascertain if the Ecochip fuel saver lives up to its name, and this review would expose all that is needed to know about this device.

Features of the Ecochip fuel saver

  • The chip reduces fuel consumption upto 55 percent.
  • Easy to connect to OBD2
  • The chip is pre-programmed, and hence it is easy to operate
  • Compatible with all cars with OBD connector
  • A lightweight and small device

Does Ecochip fuel saver Really work?

The answer to this Question is NO, The claims that Ecochip fuel saver is the best-selling fuel saving on the market is actually false. The Ecochip does not save fuel consumption in anyway, The chip doesn’t re-align the molecular structure of the fuel before it reaches the fuel injectors. It is just an expensive LED flasher.

Is Ecochip a genuine Product?

No, the Ecochip is just a recycled piece of junk.  The unit does not have any connection to OBD communication. Only what is connected is Power for the flasher to flash. In order to do what these companies claim, you would have to redesign the car. The major parts of how much fuel any car uses are: vehicle weight, tire size, rolling resistance, friction in moving parts, number of moving parts in the driveline, etc. There is nothing plug and play that can alter these basic factors. From these critical points noted above, has a lot of red flags as there are lots of negative reviews about the device.

Conclusion

From every indications, it is clear that the Ecochhip does not work, and is not recommended by us.

Just like viviizstores ,dicoola, alien-tees, galacmart, southood, crocodiletime and other suspicious websites, customers did not receive the items they ordered but a cheap item or nothing at all.

  1. I am glad I read the review on “Eco-Chip” and will not buy it. I kinda figured it was just something you plug into your system that just sits there but does nothing. It would have to hack into my car’s computer and change some settings, and that would cause problems with my system.

Its kinda like the things they sell you to plug into you electrical outlet that claim to save you electricity.

These scammers are allowed to sell people anything as long as it doesnt do any damage. Thats why they get away with it.

    • I glad I chose to investigate this first. I thankful for planetofreviews.com. But what is weird to me is there are several advertisements for the EcoChip throughout the article. That makes no sense.

        • Yeah, Ecochop, I mean chip must be paying some big bucks in ads and didn’t like the fact people are knocking the product. Google doesn’t care one way or the other if the public gets a good product or not. I don’t know who is right, but I have doubts on this stuff. I wish it were true to claims. Our Fed would be mad at us for delaying the conversion to electric cars.

          • I’ll second that,,,,,but the catch is EVs are as big a scam as the EcoChip.

Rich boys play things are all they are. Put 1000 pounds of tools in one in the winter time and you will get about half way home from a jobsite before you are sitting at the side of the road watching the gas cars and trucks go by.

Don’t worry though. I hear they come with a clean plastic mud bucket and you can jump the fence on the freeway and borrow a bucket of electricity from a farmer.

The eco-chip scams will not get you 100 miles to the gallon but ICEs will still rule for years to come. EVs have been around for over 150 years and they still are nothing more then toys that are not suitable for the American way of life. It’s going to take more then Elon’s fantastic salesmanship and superior business prowess to get us off Gasoline.

Here is the only sure fire way to cut your fuel bill in half…………………..

  3. This is the same as the rag they were selling that would make dents and scratches disappear.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

  6. the companies that do the most scammers are petrol companies that charge sky high .prices in times of crisis and then fail to reduce the prices when whole sale prices . drop these should be prosecuted also companies that make excesive profits such has retailers some markups are 400 percent or above the wholesale prices for the product also the bigger the brand the higher the profit is for the company hence the ability to reduce prices in sales eg televisions with 200or 300 pound reductions also remarks about scammers it is quite obvious some companies/ individuals dont want to see a newproducts on the market has might effect their sales a few years ago i had a web site advertising hotel room price reduction catalogue some imberseal wrote that it was a scam which was incorrect has my sales failed becauseof this
and i had a number of people contacted me had used the same product and found no fault has you keep passing comments that fuel savers are scams then the police should informed and the relevant company proscecuted but this does not appear to happen it was journalist that did the most damage to rover cars by saying they were crap infact i owned 3 rover cars 213. knights brige and one other and no faults occureed with them infact the biggest pile of crap are ford cars

  7. Not only is the “Eco chip OBD2” worthless as far as its claims go, but it actually reduced my fuel economy. After I removed it, I’m at least back to my original miles per gallon. I used it for three (3) tank-fulls of gas, just to be sure.
Since I’m retired and don’t drive many miles, the 30-day money back offer expired. Shame on me.
LIKE I SAID, THIS IS A TOTALLY WORTHLESS PIECE OF JUNK! ! !
