Detect said it has not received any reports of a false negative result occurring in the recalled test kit lots but that it is conducting the recall out of “an abundance of caution.” 

Last November, the FDA recalled more than 2.2 million Ellume-brand COVID-19 test kits over concerns they could produce false positive results.
